Mary Jane (1883-1915) was the daughter of Patrick "Yankee Pat" Tinneny of Goladuff and Philadelphia and Margaret Malloy of Greenock, Scotland.  She was born and raised in Greenock and as a teenager knew John McColgan.   When she came to America in her late teens John left the Army in Scotland and followed her.   The couple married in Philadelphia and lived in New Jersey until Mary Jane's untimely death.
